Pistol Grip Cane, hardwood handle on Applewood shaft

A very special, collectors' cane made in Somerset, England.  The hardwood handle is a comfortable, stylish shape known as the 'Pistol Grip' because of its off-centre form.  It is mounted on an Applewood shaft, distinctive for the wrinkled appearance of the bark.  The cane is fitted with a smart brass collar and finished with a metal ferrule.  Overall height approximately 94cm (37").
