This album presents traditional dance pieces from Bavaria. They were collected by Aline Taconnet, who shows remarkable mastery of the hackbrett, which she uses in chromatic or diatonic mode, and Christian Vistorky, who has taken a particular interest in the knopfharmonika. Jean-Claude ollier Urfer, who has been playing the zither for thirty years, has gathered a wide range of melodies to present the different facets of his instrument.
