Calico Bean Soup Blend (large 1 lb 2 oz zipper pack)

This Calico Soup Blend is a very pretty blend of legumes. This blend includes:

• red chief lentils
• green lentils
• small baby lima beans
• green split peas
• yellow split peas
• navy beans
• blackeye beans
• pinto beans
• small red beans
• pearled barley

This blend cooks into a thick soup. The lentils and split peas break apart during cooking to thicken the soup while the beans retain their shape. Use this colorful bean blend in most recipes calling for dry beans or try our recipes. Your blend comes in a clear, nylon zipper pack comparable to Mylar and is suitable for extended storage.  This bean blend is very economical.  Each bag makes 18 to 24 cups of soup depending on your recipe.
