Tea Brick - Green

Compressed tea was hauled via camel caravans from China to Russia. Compressing the tea into a brick meant that the tea could be packed more efficiently. Pieces of the brick could be broken off and used for currency along the route. Our tea bricks are mainly decorative, but they can also be used to make tea. Just scrape off the appropriate amount and use it just as you would loose tea. Each tea brick measures approximately 7.5" x 4.5" and weighs about 18 ounces.
