Amperex 6DJ8 / ECC88 - early white label, matched pair

The early 1960s Amperex 6DJ8 / E88CC tubes in this precisely matched pair were made in Holland (Heerlen factory code) and have white labels (label conditions vary). This version is the same as the Bugle Boy labeled tubes, with the following characteristics:

• creases on the top of the bottle
• the Heerlen factory code etched along the bottom of the glass
• gray risers
• round shield with two raised rectangular sections on opposite sides
• halo getter with wide support post
• white label with "Made in Holland" printed under the Amperex name (condition of the label varies)

Both tubes test as new with balanced sections and very low noise. They are precisely matched for both transconductance (Gm) and current draw (mA). These tubes are sold as a matched pair. Photo is a sample pair from the lot. Singles, when available, are listed as Item 80.
