Ei 12AX7 / ECC83 - smooth plates, pre-war Yugoslavia

This ECC83 / 12AX7 tube was made in pre-war Yugoslavia and labeled for Audio Research Corporation. It has smooth gray plates and a halo getter, just like the famed Telefunken 12AX7 tube it was modeled after--at a fraction of the cost! The white labels says "made in W. Germany" but the code etched in the glass is for the Ei factory in Yugoslavia.  These unused tubes are surplus from Audio Research lines that transitioned to using 6DJ8 / ECC88 tubes instead.
