Sageman Djembe Bob Marley

Sageman Drums had recently become the only authorized builder of Djembe drums officially licensed to carry Bob Marley’s image. Working with input directly from the Marley family they created a deep carved “Tuff Gong” logo along with a special minted coin with Bob’s image embedded into each Djembe. Sageman Djembes each start with a handpicked piece of solid mahogany which is precision lathe cut and hand carved. Traditionally skinned, this drum creates an old world sound that is natural, warm and full-bodied, a sound that synthetic heads can’t produce.
