BRK SC7010BV Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarm (battery back-up) is a combination smoke (Photoelectric) and carbon monoxide alarm that protects against two deadly household threats. Meets code for both smoke and CO alarms. Key features include:

• Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Combination Alarm. One alarm protects against two deadly household threats
• Voice Warning Exclusive! A voice will tell you the programmed location of unit and the danger detected. Programmable with up to 11 locatoins (ex. "basement"). When alarm sounds (if programmed for basement), it will say, "Warning, Evacuate, Smoke in Basement." All other interconnected SC7010BV's will announce warning without location. All other interconnected hardwired alarms will sound their normal smoke and/or CO horn pattern
• Spread Spectrum Horn Tone Unit has lower and varying horn frequency to make it easier for the elderly with normal age related hearing loss to better hear the horn and be rated 85db at 10 ft.
• Intelligent Sensing Technology designed to help reduce unwanted or nuisance alarms
• Smart Interconnect can be interconnected to most BRK Smoke Alarms. One interconnect wire carries both smoke and CO alarm signals
• Single Button Test/Silence eliminates confusion. Depending on what mode the alarm is in, pushing the button provides different functions such as testing the alarm, silencing the alarm, re-testing the alarm when in silence and clearing the Latching feature
• Latching Features ALARM LATCH: Easily identifies initiating alarm even after alarm condidtion has subsided. LOW BATTERY LATCH: Identifies which unit is in low battery condition
• Perfect Mount System includes a gasketless base for easy installation and a new mounting bracket that keeps the alarm secure over a wide rotation range to allow for perfect alignment
• Dust Cover is included to keep the alarm clean during construction
• Easy Installation/Maintenance features include a large opening in the mounting bracket for easy access to wiring. A battery pull tab that keeps the battery fresh until the home is occupied
• Side Load Battery Drawer allows for easy battery replacement without removing the alarm from the ceiling or wall
