These Sheepskin Boots have the classic flat sole and are well suited for indoor / outdoor use (not recommended for snow or ice - see "Gecko Grip" version). This sole is made from EVA (ethyl vinyl acetate) which is known for lightness and shock absorption. It gained great popularity from its use in running shoes over the last 30 years. By itself, it is not known for traction unless fused with a rubber strip. It is also commonly used as a midsole in a large number of footwear products.
