"DRY LOOK" Stone Sealer 16oz
Prevent's "Dry Look" solvent based impregnating sealer is a professional grade, unique formula. Sealers for natural stone and concrete should not be confusing, so our goal is to make 2 main types of sealer for these surfaces, and that is all! This sealer forms an invisible barrier that is resistant to moisture and stains while allowing vapor to escape. Excellent sealer for both indoor and outdoor applications! Just as the name implies, this sealer DOES NOT alter the natural look of the stone and is NOT a surface coating. Treated surfaces are much harder and less slippery. Best Penetrating Sealer on the market for: * Granite* Marble* Sanded Grout* Limestone* Sandstone* Cement* Slate* Brick. * Any porous stone or rock based surface Other Features:* Food Prep Areas* Interior & Exterior Use* Long lasting when exposed to the elements* UV Transparent Technical Specifications:* Coverage 300-1900 feet/gallon or up to 3000sf on Polished Surfaces* Available in pints and soon in quarts.* VOC Compliant Important Note: Wait for at least 72 hours before sealing a new floor or wall installation. Other installations, such as slab countertops can be sealed immediately. Directions: Test on a spare tile or inconspicuous area for desired results. The stone surface must be free of any coating, dust, soiling, etc. Start with an area approximately 3 to 4 square feet. Apply Impregnating Sealer with a soft white terry cloth. Apply sealer to cloth and spread evenly over the surface. DO NOT ALLOW TO PUDDLE OR SET ON SURFACE. Allow to penetrate for 45 minutes to 1 hour. To assure surface has been adequately sealed place a few drops of water on the stone. If the water beads, the stone is adequately sealed. If absorption occurs apply an additional application of sealer. Let cure for at least 3 to 4 hours prior to use. Impregnating Sealer may require more than one application on very porous marble, travertine, limestone, slate, and onyx surfaces. CAUTION: Causes eye and skin irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. In case of contact, flush thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. Do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children.
