The interface is designed to provide the information needed for the affected employees to perform their job safely. To use Confined Space Tracker™, a confined space is selected by name or number from a drop-down list. The record is retrieved and all information related to the selected confined space is available to the viewer. The user can review the information on screen, print copies, and with the proper password, produce an entry or hot-work permit. Information and photographs related to each confined space are easy to input into the system. Information can be collected, entered, and maintained by existing staff after a short training session. Automation: Confined Space Tracker™ simplifies and facilitates the permit process and provides a consistent source of data. Confined Space Tracker™ automatically prepares entry and hot-work permits. When linked to the Staff Manager™ module, Confined Space Tracker™ will only allow employees with the proper training and certification to be listed on a permit. Each permit is saved in a separate permit history file that can be reviewed and sorted in custom reports.
