The CH24 Wishbone Chair (Y-Chair) is a classic modern furniture masterpiece created by Hans Wegner in 1950. The Wishbone Chair received the name due to the shape of the back of the chair. The chair is light and a relatively small piece of furniture. The curved hind legs and the semicircular top rail together with the elegant Y-back endows the chair with a gracious and welcoming air. The Wishbone Chair sits very well, is spacious and allows its user to easily change position. The back offers good support allowing a comfortable feel for longer periods of time. The curved top rail makes it easy to move around and arm rests are long enough to give adequate support to your forearms - the chair can also be pushed in close to a table. Today, the Wishbone Chair has developed into one of Han Wegner's most popular chairs.
