Hobbs Polydown Plus batting is definitely a great "snuggly" batting. This wonderfully soft polyester batting is siliconized to resist bearding. This batting can be described like "quilting through butter." It's a lower-loft batting for fine hand work or machine quilting.  The maximum stitch distance is 9".
