Jazz Portable Power 250 is a rechargeable and easy-to-use power source that supplies 250 watts of AC household power when utility power is not available. The system jump starts cars, trucks, or boats and operates 12-volt automotive and marine appliances. Whether you're camping, boating, or working away from the office, Jazz Portable Power 250 is an ideal power source for operating TVs, VCRs, laptop computers, portable stereos, and many other electrical appliances commonly used at home.

The system's compact size, lightweight design, and sturdy handle make it an ideal travel partner. Its sleek profile enables you to tuck it away when storage space is limited. Jazz Portable Power 250's built-in fluorescent light can illuminate a room for 23 hours and help you through a power disruption. The system is quiet, creates no exhaust or fumes and is safe for indoor use.

AC Household Power up to 250 watts

Jazz Portable Power 250 provides power to electrical equipment and appliances rated at 250 watts continuous or less. The system surges to 500 watts and is perfect for powering items such as cordless phones, clock radios, color TV's, laptop computers, table lamps, fans, and more. Simply plug in the appliance and turn Jazz Portable Power 250 on. Jazz Portable Power 250 can run a portable stereo for 15 hours or a cordless phone for 37 hours. The exact run time depends on the amount of power being drawn by the application and the charge-state of Jazz Portable Power 250's battery. Jazz Portable Power 250 shuts off automatically if an appliance is rated higher than 250 watts or if the battery is too low.

DC Power for 12-volt Appliances

The system's DC power socket supplies 12-volt (12 amps) power to operate DC electrical appliances and accessories. Jazz Portable Power 250 will run a DC-operated cordless telephone for about 33 hours, a portable stereo for about 15 hours and a coffee maker for about 1 hour.

Easy to Monitor Display Panel

The Display Panel, located on the front of the Jazz Portable Power 250, includes a Battery Level Indicator, Battery Status Button, and a Reverse Polarity Alarm for vehicle jump-starts. - The Battery Level Indicator is a meter that displays the battery charge level (from 'Empty' to 'Full').

- When the Battery Status Button is pressed, Jazz Portable Power 250's Charging/Ready Light lets you know when the system has completed the charge and is 'Ready'.

- The Reverse Polarity Alarm eliminates the worry of incorrectly connecting the jump-start cables to the battery. The Alarm will sound and a red light will indicate a reverse polarity condition. Built-In Emergency Light The built-in light includes two illumination settings and can provide emergency light during a power disruption for 23 hours.

Jazz Portable Power 250 can be recharged by using utility power from an AC outlet, from your vehicle as you drive, from a system equipped with a 12-volt battery charging outlet, or from a solar panel.

- Recharge Jazz Portable Power 250 in about 34 hours using utility power with the AC Charger.

- Jazz Portable Power 250 can be recharged in about three hours using the DC Charge Cable plugged into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket, or a system equipped with a 12-volt battery charging outlet like a generator.

- A small unregulated 12-volt solar panel in combination with a DC Coaxial (Barrell Type) Connector can recharge Jazz Portable Power 250 in about eight hours of direct sunlight via the Charger Input Socket using a 3 amp solar panel.
