Glycolic peel 30%*With options: Prep Solution A, Neutralizer, Fan Brush The glycolic peels listed on this page are of the buffered variety. Buffering raises the pH level of the acid so that it is not too strong. A higher pH level will slow-down the action of the acid. They can be left on longer than an unbuffered (professional) variety, and are thus safer. These peels are perfect for at-home usage. Chemical peels are great for use as anti aging treatments, acne treatments, scar treatments and also to re-freshen the skin periodically. Glycolic acid is a great "general" type of acid. It is water soluble, and works nicely on most skin types to accelerate the turnover of skin cells, remove lesions, and restore steadiness. After you have prepared your skin for 2 weeks, we suggest the following application process:
- Wash face with acidic cleanser.
- Dry and apply 1-2 layers of Peel Prep Solution A.
- Air Dry.
- Apply peel for suggested time frame on direction sheet.
- Apply Neutralizer.
- Rinse well with cool - cold water.
