HISPAC III

Accurate, simple and cost effective!  Hispac III is highly accurate…a simple gate adjustment allows only 1 tablet or capsule to pass by the machine’s electric eye. While the machine is on, a wiper brush continuously cleans Hispac III”s rotating disc. With its two drawer design, Hispac III can be used for either single or multiple counts. It can be equipped for either 110 Volt or 220 Volt power requirements. And, the machine’s small footprint lets you place it anywhere you need and easily stored away when not in use. Each excess tablet was counted and indicated on the digital display therefore it is not regarded as a true miscount because it was detected by the multi-sensor. For example, on a test count of 30, an extra tablet passed the multi-sensor as the rotating disc came to a stop. The extra tablet was counted and shown on the digital display as a count of 31. Testing was performed on the HISPAC III model HMS2, 110 volt. Tablets and capsules were tested separately. Testing was performed in each mode as follows:

• Single: Performed 250 cycles of 30 tablets and 250 cycles of 30 capsules for a total of 500 cycles.
• Multi: Performed 250 cycles of 30 tablets and 250 cycles of 30 capsules for a total of 500 cycles.
• Inventory: Performed 250 cycles of 100 tablets and 250 cycles of 100 capsules for a total of 500 cycles.

Results: The HISPAC III performed at an overall accuracy level of 99.8% with no true miscounts occurring. Additionally, no miscounts occurred during testing with capsules. No "undercounts" occurred. Notes: The counting speed of the unit is directly attributable to the size of the pill being counted…smaller = faster. A typical, round, aspirin-size pill goes through at about 500/minute. Pill size can range anywhere from about 3mm dia. to large 000 size capsules.  All new machines are thoroughly tested prior to shipping to ensure 100% accuracy and are backed by a full one-year warranty on parts and labor.
