Tamper-Evident 5 Micron Filter Needles! Our Filter Needles have been designed for use with multi-dose IV vials. Both 18 and 20 gauge (1 1/2") needles are available with 5 micron filters to minimize the potential of particulate being dispensed. The special sintered design of the filter, in both devices, retains particles not only on its surface but throughout its sponge-like construction. Since the filter is stainless steel, it doesn’t shed so it won’t add additional particulate matter to your solutions. Each filter needle is individually sterilized. A tamper-evident, heat-sealed cap maintains the needle's sterility. The device can be used only when the heat stake of the cap is broken.
