Backgrounds by Anne Strite-Kurz

This is a wonderful compilation of advanced background textures using unusual fibers. The text features interesting examples in finished pieces from over thirty outstanding designers and teachers as well as examples from Ann's work. There is a CD included so that the designs can be either viewed or printed out in full color on a computer. Anne is well known for her innovative stitch treatments, and many of the patterns presented are open arrangements with unconventional stitch sequences that conceal the traveling threads automatically.
