Details

BioCatalin is a topical formulation containing specific enzymes which have been used to relieve conditions associated with acute inflammation. Inflammatory response in the body can be triggered whenever body tissues are injured by physical trauma; intense heat; irritating chemicals; or by infection due to viruses, fungi and bacteria. This response assists the body to prevent the spread of damaging agents to nearby tissue, to eliminate cell debris and pathogens, and it sets the stage for the rebuilding process. The central ingredient in BioCatalin is pancreatin extract which contains four proteolytic enzymes with anti-inflammatory properties that have been shown to stimulate the body’s own natural enzyme processes without suppressing the immune system. Dr. Anthony Cichoke states in his book, The Complete Book of Enzyme Therapy, that proteolytic enzymes also “increase tissue permeability, as well as the rate of degradation of inflammatory and toxic products, and increase the rate of microthrombi breakdown, therefore reducing swelling.” Coupled with prancreatin extract is Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), an antioxidant enzyme, Garlic, Tea Tree oil and Wood Betony which have been used to support circulation and balance inflammation. BioCatalin may be used topically with any healing strategy to provide acute relief with inflammatory conditions. Recommended Usage: Apply topically to affected areas in the morning and the evening, or as directed. Massage in thoroughly for best results.
