"The Archer" by Pierre-Nicolas Tourgueneff

 This substantial artwork of a medieval archer was sculpted circa 1886 by Pierre-Nicolas Tourgueneff (Russian/French, 1854-1912).  We were fortunate to have the opportunity to create a mold off of Tourgueneff's original casting, so this sculpture offers exceptional detail.  Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views. We have cast The Archer in our own California art foundry using 65 lbs. (30 kg) of pure bronze.  The sculpture boasts a deep, rich patina finish in tones of browns.  The sculpture is mounted onto a black marble base, and stands a full 39" high by 24" wide (99 cm high x 61 cm wide).  It is signed "PIERRE TOURGUENEFF", and we have cast our foundry seal into its bronze base. This is a classic artwork that will last to be treasured by many future generations.  We guarantee your satisfaction. For more information or to arrange international shipment, please send email to info@artbronze.com or call us at 818.841.7979.
