"Roman Soldier on Horseback" by H.F. Moreau

 This stunning sculpture by Hippolyte-Francois Moreau (French, 1832-1917) depicts a Roman soldier atop a rearing horse.  Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views. We have cast this sculpture in our own California art foundry using pure bronze.  The sculpture is finished with a rich, classical patina in tones of browns and amber.  Mounted onto a black marble base, it stands 21.5" tall, and is signed "Hip.
