"Maiden in the Vineyard" by Auguste Moreau

 This bronze sculpture by August Moreau (French, (1834-1917) depicts a bacchanal scene, with a handsome maiden in a field holding up a bunch of grapes to tempt a goat, while a cherub suckles at the goat's breast.  Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views. We have cast Maiden in the Vineyard in our own California art foundry using 25 lbs.
