"Liberty Enlightening the World" by F.A. Bartholdi (24" H)

 This outstanding sculpture that is now known as the Statue of Liberty was originally entitled Liberty Enlightening the World by Frederic-Auguste Bartholdi (French, 1834-1904).  Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views of this highly detailed artwork. This bronze casting is a reduced version of the Avoirin model used by Bartholdi to promote investment by the citizens of France in his larger-scale project.  Mounted onto a black marble base and standing 24" high by 9" wide (61 cm high x 23 cm wide), this sculpture makes a noble statement in any residential or commercial setting.  We have cast Lady Liberty in our own California art foundry using 35 lbs.
