"Liberty Enlightening the World" by F.A. Bartholdi (34½" H)

 This outstanding sculpture that is now known as the Statue of Liberty was originally entitled Liberty Enlightening the World by Frederic-Auguste Bartholdi (French, 1834-1904).  Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views of this highly detailed artwork. Our bronze casting was molded from the Avoirin model used by Bartholdi to promote investment by the citizens of France in his larger-scale project.  This sculpture was made to this smaller scale by the artist himself, and it captures all the classical majesty of the original standing in New York Harbor, without requiring a dedicated island to display it!  Nevertheless, mounted onto a black marble base and standing 34½" high by 11" wide (88 cm high x 28 cm wide), this sculpture makes a substantial statement in any residential or commercial setting.  Our bronze casting of Liberty Enlightening the World is the preferred one purchased by preservation groups supporting the statue's fame and maintenance, including the Statue of Liberty Club. We have cast "Lady Liberty" to the highest standards in our own California art foundry using over 50 lbs.
