"Awakening" by Paul Philippe

 This lovely sculpture by Paul Philippe (French, 1870-1930) remains one of the most popular examples of the Art Nouveau female nude.  It depicts a voluptuous maiden in a deep stretch as she greets the day.  Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views. We have cast Awakening in our own California art foundry using 30 lbs.
