"Aurore" by Auguste Moreau

 This beautiful sculpture is a classic Art Nouveau bronze by the acknowledged master of the genre, Auguste Moreau (French, 1834-1917).  Its title translating in English to "dawn," Aurore depicts a lovely woman capturing the light of daybreak.  Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views. We have cast Aurore in our own California art foundry using 23 lbs. (10.5 kg) of pure bronze.  The sculpture is finished with a deep, rich patina in tones of brown, black and amber. Aurore is mounted onto a black marble base, stands 25½" tall by 13" wide (65 cm high x 33 cm wide), and is signed "Auguste Moreau" in the bronze.  In addition, a bronze plaque on the front of the base carries the title, artist's name, and identification that it was awarded a gold medal at its art exposition debut. This is a fine bronze sculpture, made to the highest standards.  We guarantee your satisfaction. For more information or to arrange international shipment, please send email to info@artbronze.com or call us at 818.841.7979.
