"Alfred Nobel Bust" by A.T. Abeljanz

 This is an original bronze casting of Alfred Nobel by Arthur Tigram Abeljanz (Swiss, 1885-1970).  The famed originator of the Nobel Prize competition is depicted in a dignified pose in this portrait bust.  Please click on the thumbnail images above to see additional views. The sculpture is finished with a classic patina in tones of dark verdigris with reddish brown accents.  Mounted onto a black marble base, the bust stands 20" high by 9¼" wide (50 cm high x 23 cm wide).  The artist has signed "Abeljanz" onto the rear of the bronze. This is a fine bronze sculpture, cast in Europe in the early 20th century to the highest standards.  We guarantee your satisfaction.
