SwitchBlade windshields require the QuickSet4 mount kit (sold separately). Is the 2-Up too tall, or the Shorty too short? The SwitchBlade Chopped windshield offers wind protection while still offering a clear view over the top of the windshield. Sleek and stylish with a classic look, the Chopped is an ideal choice for an every-season windshield.  For the money you just can't go wrong with this shield.  These are bike specific and are very proportioned for your specific bike.  If you want a larger shield replace the Chopped with a 2-UP or you want a shorter shield go with the Shorty or Deflector in seconds, or just go without a shield on a nice day.  If you are looking for a shield to reduce head buffetting, measure from your headlight cut-out up to the approximate height of your nose while you are setting on the bike.  This will give you a rough estimate of the height required for you personally.  For taller riders the Chopped shield may not relieve all head buffetting, but is a very nice choice.     The Tint is a very light tint, making them very attractive and functional and more popular then the clear.

Developed for windshield use by National Cycle, Quantum™ coating takes motorcycle windshields a quantum leap forward in abrasion resistance and outdoor life. National Cycle applies this crystal clear, hardcoating to Lexan® polycarbonate material. The combined result is the strongest, most abrasion resistant windshield material available worldwide, with 10X the abrasion resistance of FMR coating (measured with the Tabor Abrasion Test).
