Kuryakyn's chrome neck cover for the V Star 1100 is a stunning replacement for the dull, stock, black components.

These covers are not simply chrome replicas of the stock parts. The contours on both sides have been smoothed and molded to provide a flowing appearance. The right side cover has a stylized teardrop shaped boss that surrounds the ignition switch and leaves just its outer surface exposed.  You should see these installed, really sharp. Installation of this chrome plated two-part composite piece is a simple affair and can be accomplished with common hand tools.
