Stages will be shining brighter without putting any strain on the crew with the addition of the new OSRAM aluPAR lamp series. Unlike standard (glass) incandescent PAR56 lamps, aluPAR lamps have an aluminum reflector which makes them up to 35% lighter, reducing transportation and storage costs. Additionally the compact halogen filament is perfectly matched to the high-precision contour of the reflector, resulting in up to 10% higher brightness and whiter light (2850-2920K) than incandescent PAR56 lamps. These lamps are fully interchangeable with existing lamps. OSRAM aluPAR lamps are available in 300W, 120V or 230V, Narrow Spot (NSP), Medium Flood (MFL) or Wide Flood (WFL) designations. With many options, they offer freedom for designing lighting effects and impressive stage show lighting. OSRAM aluPAR lamps also feature a modular lamp concept in which the aluminum parabolic reflector and the front glass shield are mechanically connected to one another. At the end of their life, they can be disassembled into individual components for environmentally-preferred waste disposal. ***OSRAM aluPAR lamps recently received the “Environmental Impact” award at the PLASA 2005 trade show in London. Due to their environmentally-friendly modular design concept, the OSRAM aluPAR lamps can be separated from their aluminium reflectors and front glass lens at the end of their life, which makes for more environmentally-friendly waste disposal.
