Origami Card: Crane, Symbol of Hope The Japanese crane in flight is a contemporary variation on the classic origami figure.  White crane with outstretched wings framed in blue on a background of blue/multicolor chiyogami with floral and flying crane motifs.  Back of card is inscribed, "Crane:  symbol of hope", and signed by the artist.  Inside is blank for your message.  Handmade origami note cards by Iowa City artist Amy Dobrian are a beautiful complement to a special gift or a note to a friend. Each card is individually hand folded and collaged and signed by the artist.  Made from Japanese chiyogami papers and acid-free card stock, cards are individually packaged with a white linen envelope in a protective sleeve.  Because each card is handmade, slight variations may occur, but each will be very similar to examples pictured.  Blank inside for your personal message.
