Giraffe Spoon Set

African art that is beautiful, useful, and meaningful.  This beautiful spoon and fork set is hand carved from Mutanga wood, an African hard wood.  This set can be used for salad or as a serving set.  These wood utensils can be used for decoration or for use with food.  We recommend that you treat them with food grade mineral oil or bees wax to maintain the wood.  These are not dishwasher safe, they need to be hand washed with soap and water. Shona folklore tells about 'Twiza', the gentle giraffe.  After God created the animals he spoke to them and explained their roles on Earth.  Twiza was so captivated by God's voice that he stretched his neck out as far as possible to hear Him better.  This impressed God greatly and for his effort he gave Twiza a graceful long neck to show all other animals that, in life, a little extra effort can be rewarded. Length:  12 inchesWidth:  3 3/4 inches
