Potassium Sorbate (Granular)

Honeyville's Potassium Sorbate is the potassium salt that you would find from sorbic acid. Potassium Sorbate is primarily used as a food preservative. It inhibits molds and yeasts in many foods, such as cheese, yogurt, dried meats, dried fruits, apple cider and more. Potassium Sorbate is also used in wine as a stabilizer.

Shelf-Life:  Potassium Sorbate will store for 1 year in a sealed 50 pound bag under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place).

Uses:  Potassium Sorbate can be used as a food preservative for dried meats, dried fruits, yogurts, cheese and more.
