History in Action Toys is excited to take on the challenge of developing toys that teach our children about history and excite them about their own futures in a way that is fun and interactive.
Hia Toys were developed, both in packaging and design, to highlight the unique diversity in American history and allow African-American kids to see that they belong. The series of toys makes the African-American child, by helping to tell the story of their ancestors in a new and creative way. The toys are culturally sensitive in taking great pains to capture the detail and features of the time period and of the individuals, along with, bringing to light some great stories of some of our forgotten heroes.
