In general, grain density and color differ with age and the older the tree the longer the manufacturer's warranty (however with simple maintenance, it's all made to last a lifetime - even under commercial conditions). Regardless of age, all lumber is cut and milled Extra-Thick (up to 50% thicker than standard boards) so it looks, feels and is extremely sturdy and durable. Assembly hardware is 100% stainless steel.
