- Available in either clear heart vertical grain Redwood or clear Western Red Cedar.
- Suitable for interior and exterior projects when properly sealed.
- Slip Over Post Caps are crafted using five-piece construction, with galvanized V-nails in each corner of the molding. Twelve or more stainless steel staples permanently fasten the molding to the underside of each post cap.
- Important: Please be sure to measure your posts for actual post dimensions before ordering. Our post caps are made for the actual size of the post plus approximately 1/8” clearance.
- Preparation:For outdoor installation as with all wood products, be sure to seal the wood portion of the post cap with an oil base primer, paint, stain, or preservative prior to outdoor application. Apply to all wood areas, including the underside of the cap.
