Merchant Spotlight: Iron Company

Ironcompany.com, Inc. was established in 1997 by J.P. and Ann Brice. J.P. has been in the fitness industry for more than 15 years and handles most of the quoting, sales and new accounts. Ann takes care of the invoices and billing, not to mention two daughters, with an endless supply of energy.

The business began with a shabby little 5-page website that only offered one or two products; it has grown into one of the most well known fitness equipment retailers on the web with a cutting edge, dynamic e-commerce site that sells everything from rubber flooring to cardio equipment to weights. They currently have a government GSA contract which keeps them busy shipping equipment to bases all over the world. The residential market makes up the majority of their sales, but the commercial side of the business has grown very rapidly this year.

They are looking forward to an even bigger growth spurt in '05 thanks to their new website created by Judy Brill, their new shopping cart, and a lot of hard work.
