Door Knob Alarm: featuring a 120dB Door Knob Alarm

The is adual purpose 120db alarm. It acts as a burglar alarm and a personal alarm. Hang it on any door knob (non-metallic doors) and it instantly and automatically sounds when an intruder touches the door knob. Carry it with you and just pull out the metal chain to sound the alarm and deter an assailant. Uses one 9-volt battery (not included). *Note:  The door handle alarm uses a similar technology as touch lamps and thus uses the metal in the door knob to create a responsive metallic object and sounds the alarm when touch is sensed.  In order to turn the door knob into a touch sensitive area, only the door knob must be metallic.  If you attempt to use this with a metal door, the field dissipates into the door and doesn't work correctly.  Great for wood door / metal door knob combinations.  Not for use with plastic door handles.
