Details

SLIGHTLY NOT STONED ENOUGH TO EAT BREAKFAST YET STOOPID was originally released by the southern California surf-reggae-punk outfit Slightly Stoopid in 2005. The expanded 2008 CD release triples the length of the original EP by adding 14 additional tracks, including outtakes and new recordings. The new material is stylistically in keeping with songs from the original EP, such as "Cops" and a faithful cover of UB40's "I Would Do For You," focusing on heavy, bass-driven dub reggae and jam band looseness rather than the punkier elements of the band's sound. Experiments such as the bluegrass rush of "Train 1" (followed immediately by its groovy dub doppelganger "Train 2") and a hardcore punk reading of Ricky Martin's hit "She Bangs" only add to the fun. Condition:Brand new factory sealed.
