Bayfield - Allen Edmonds

The Bayfield by Allen Edmonds is an above the ankle boot. The seven-eyelet, cap- toe blucher boot was developed by Allen Edmonds to be worn by all first class passengers in the movie, Titanic.  The Bayfield has a full leather lining and a leather heel tab. The boot also has a Toby mini-lug rubber sole that is ideal for all weather conditions.  The Bayfield also features 270° giving it a narrower heel and sleek look while still durable, comfortable and flexible. It comes in both full and half sizes as well as varied widths and is made using a Welted Last 1-(511).

Bayfield Construction:

The Allen Edmonds’ shoes created using the 270° Goodyear welted construction feature a narrower heel and a sleek look. The 270° welting from heel to heel have a PORON™ –padded heel for added comfort. Like the 360° welted footwear, Classic 270° shoes feature a heated cork layer between the insole and outsole  for a custom fit, as well as shank-less construction for added comfort and ease while traveling through airport security.  Classic 270° welted shoes also offer full leather soles giving the shoes the classic look of other 360° welted styles.
