Kennedy Half dollar rolls with satin finish 80 coins

Since the late 1990s no Kennedy Half dollars have been issued by the United States Mint for circulation. They are only available in mint sets created just for collectors.

In 2005 the U.S. Mint began issuing Kennedy half dollars with a special satin or burnished finish. The special finish is achieved by sandblasting the coin dies with millions of tiny glass beads. The result is a beautiful coin that is easily distinguishable from other sin the series dating back until 1964. These coins are not sold individually by the U.S. Mint and are not available from banks.
