2011 Silver Eagle NGC PR70 American Silver Eagles are minted in one troy ounce of .9993 pure silver making them the largest heaviest and purest silver coins in U.S. history. They have legal tender status with a nominal face value of one dollar. The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman's famous "Walking Liberty" design that first appeared on U.S. Silver Half Dollars from 1916-1947.
