WB3B Celtic Warrior Bangle Silver/18kt Gold

This Sterling silver wire bangel is from the Warrior Collection and the design is an ancient design from the Book of Kells. In the center of the design is a 18kt gold bead. It measured for a 7 to 7.5 in wrist. Made in Ireland. The Celtic Warrior Collection has been inspired by one of Ireland's foremost treasures, The Ardagh Chalice. In 1868 it was found in Ardagh Co. Limerick by two men digging potatoes. The Ardagh Chalice is made of silver and decorated with 354 pieces of gold, brass, lead pewter, copper, gilt bronze and enamel beading. There are great examples of  the fine filigree gold work on this piece, it shows the extraordinary skill, craftsmanship and time that was devoted to making this chalice.
