The 900MHz band is the band that Nextel is rebanding/moving to. In your area, the 900MHz band may or may not be operating. If you would like to use both an 800MHz and 900MHz Nextel/SMR Bi-Directional Amplifier we offer a Cross Band Coupler / 800-900 MHz

Extends Coverage

The Model 51075 in-building amplifier provides amplification of both uplink and downlink 900MHz SMR/Nextel cellular wireless signals in facilities located within reasonable proximity of cell sites.

Typical Applications

Among facilities that can benefit from an in-building amplifier installation are parking garages, warehouses, basements, shielded structures, metal buildings, office complexes, campus environments, hospitals, and convention centers.

Depending upon exterior signal strength, cabling, interior antennas and interior construction, this amplifier can cover up to a Home Depot size building.

• Interior antenna(s), typically the 301121WPS Dual-Band Ceiling Mount Omni-Directional Dome Antenna or Cellular Specialties Dual Band Directional Panel Antenna 
• Dual-Band splitter to connect more than one interior antenna, 2-way, 3-way, 4-way
• Cabling to connect components: 9913/LMR-400 for shorter runs, LMR-600 for longer runs
• Lightning protection is suggested to protect amplifier against exterior antenna lightning strikes
