Sisters in Song is a non-profit national choir of Catholic Sisters whose recordings help fund the retirement needs of men and women religious in the United States. Net profits from the sale of the recordings are distributed equally to two non-profit organizations whose purpose is to assist U.S. religious congregations in caring for their retired members: The National Religious Retirement Office and SOAR! (Support Our Aging Religious, Inc)

The 60-voice choir featured on the recording was selected through a national search. Over 20 states and 30 religious congregations are represented.
