S200 by Air Arms

The S200S provides a low cost introduction to pcp shooting that is small in size but big on performance. This super compact rifle has proved a very capable weapon. This model has a fixed cylinder re-filled via a quick release filling connector. The S200 rifle requires the cylinder to be re charged which can be done by either a pneumatic pump or a divers bottle. Removal of the end cap exposes the quick release filling system. The mating female connector comes with the rifle as standard. Filling pressure 190 bar The new S200 came about when Air Arms set out to probe the viability of a C02 powered sporter rifle. CZ Brno, a giant airgun company based on the Czech Republic was involved on the process due to its range of CO2 based, bolt action single shot junior target rifles. A batch of these rifles were shipped for tests to Air Arms headquarters in Sussex where they were examined by both inhouse and field test experts. As a result of all the feedback, suggestions and various inputs gathered new prototypes flowed from expert to expert, and after many changes and field tests, and across a 3 year period of research and development, the S200 was born. Manufactured by CZ Brno Distributed by Air Arms (UK) The deeply cut pistol grip is distinctive and so is the two piece stock with the exposed breech block between. The block and trigger guard silhouette is a signature of the CZ 200 series. Follow the angled cut back edge of the fore-stock downwards in an arc over the trigger, then swing it back up to the front edge of the butt stock and you gain an appreciation of the aesthetic. For someone more accustomed to spring piston air rifles, the compactness of this rifle is hard to describe. At just on 907mm (35.7") short and weighing in bare at less than 2.65 kg (5.8 lb.), it is a very poignant package. Mounts and scope are extra.
