With new technology, the Myo XP provides a powerful beam of light combined with a long duration. All the standards that you would expect from a Petzl headlamp are still there such as adjustable intensity in the form of three settings, maximum, optimum, and economy plus the blinking mode, an adjustable headstrap (with third, over-the-head strap included), tiltable body, and weather resistance. A flip up diffuser lens now lets you change the light from an undirected beam to more gentle proximity light. Utilizing the new technology, a battery meter has been included to show 30% and 10% battery life. Also, a boost mode as been added. From any intensity level, simply hit the boost button and you get 50% more light than maximum for up to 20 seconds before the integrated computer chip kicks it back down.
