Adapter:
The Tip Adapter, found in the Composite Series, increases the strength of the Ice Tip.
Ice:
The Ice Tip is diamond shaped for unbeatable hold in extreme conditions.
3.6 Disc:
The 3.6 Disc Basket incorporates a high standard of engineering and
design, blending aerodynamic efficiency and durability. The 3.6 disc
basket is 6 centimeters in diameter.
R2 Grip:
The R-2 Grip System combines the next generation of the anatomically
correct Radius grip and the Re-Entry Strap. The R-2 Grip, already
engineered to give the skier maximum comfort and complete contact with
the grip surface, now features softer thermoplastic rubber and an
improved gripping surface. Scotts exclusive Re-entry Strap System
always engages the wrist in a flawless position.
Carbon Fiber / Fiberglass Shaft:
Carbon fiber/fiberglass ski poles maintain all the positive attributes
of carbon fiber while integrating fiberglass, forming a carbon matrix
that is both lightweight and strong.
Filament-Wound Engineering Process:
Scott composite poles undergo an automated filament-winding process
whereby the shafts are machine-spun, producing an extremely consistent
product.
