They have a long service life, are shock proof, and UV, lead and mercury-free. Their gold-plated bases will never corrode and provide for excellent conductivity. These bulbs are ideal for cockpit, map reading lights, emergency lights, etc. They produce a spot-type beam and are best used in directional light fixtures.Features:

Bayonet style bulbs replace BA style (15mm) incandescant bulbs used in many boats and RVs; available in single contact, and double contact indexed (BAY) and non-indexed styles
2-pin styles with 4mm pin spacing replace the super hot “standard” G4 and MR11 mini-reflector style halogen bulbs, commonly used in many boats and RVs; note, check for base clearance on MR11 (see diagram)
2-pin style with 5.3mm pin spacing replace the hot MR16, mini-reflector style halogen bulbs
The bayonet, G4 and MR11 styles contain 15 LEDs and produce the equivalent of an 18 watt incandescent bulb within the main beam - bright enough for reading - with only 1 watt of consumption
The MR16 style contains 24 LEDs and produces the equivalent of a 30 watt incandescent bulb within the main beam - with only 1- 1/2 watts of consumption
Recommended for use in axial (directional) fixtures only
Not recommended for use in fixtures with colored lenses (colored lenses should have colored LEDs)
Run on 11 - 15 VDC, with no brightness variation throughout the range
In-line regulator allows use with 24 volt systems
