Highly polished investment cast 316 stainless steel. Opening allows thimble to pass through deck pipe and slot accomodates up to 3/8" chain, remaining in place when the cover is closed.
Cover is hinged and spring loaded, eliminating rattling when in the closed position. Cover slides and locks in an open position for convenient "hands free" feed of anchor rode. (Fasteners not included)
